8th PHRAGMITES Group workshop: record number of registrations

We are pleased to invite you to the 8^th annual workshop of the PHRAGMITES Research Group, a team dedicated to studying the invasive strain of the common reed.

The workshop will be help on Monday 22 April 2013 at Laval University, in Québec City.

On the programme: common reed control along roads, the filtering capabilities of common reed and the impact of climate change on reeds. We will also discuss other invaders sharing similarities with the common reed: japanses knotweed and giant hogweed.

Due to a record number of registrations, all new registrants will be billed $20 to cover the cost of the meal (payable on location; a receipt will be provided). Participants may chose to provide their own lunch, in which case the registration remains free.
