PHRAGMITES Group appears on Découverte

Claude Lavoie and Sam Karathanos were filmed for an episode of Découverte (ICI Radio-Canada) which will talk about recent changes to the reed beds in the Îles-de-Boucherville National Park. Claude Lavoie explained the basics of common reed biology and ecology to the journalist Claude D’Astous, while Sam Karathanos presented his experimental work to control the plant in abandoned farm fields. The report will be broadcast in the fall 2014.
